Class B Refresher
The Class B Refresher Program aims to provide the knowledge necessary to pass the Class B CDL exam. The program will be divided into classroom instruction and Behind The Wheel (BTW) training. After successful completion of the program, students receive a certificate of completion and may take the Class B CDL exam at the Bay County Tax Collector.
Completion Time: 5 days
RC(B) 101: Classroom Training - 20 Hours
Students will receive lessons on proper safety measures, maintaining electronic logs, and more. Subjects include but are not limited to: general knowledge, air brakes, and pre- and post-trip instructions. Students will take a written exam at the end of the classroom course.
RBTW(B) 101: Behind The Wheel Training - 20 Hours
This is the BTW portion of the program. Students will train in the yard and on the road for hands-on experience. Students will drive on highways and rural and city roads. Subjects include but are not limited to: pre- and post-trip inspection, engine components, coupling, backing skills, safe driving skills, turning, loading, and parking.

Entry Level Class B
The Entry Level Class B Program aims to teach students the skills and confidence of an entry-level Class B commercial vehicle driver and provide the knowledge necessary to pass the Class B CDL exam. The program is divided into classroom instruction and Behind The Wheel (BTW) training. After successful completion of the program, students will receive a school certificate of completion and may take the skills test for their Class B CDL at the Bay County Tax Collector.

CT(B) 101: Classroom Training - 40 Hours
Students will receive lessons on proper safety measures, maintaining electronic logs, and more. Subjects include but are not limited to: general knowledge, air brakes, and pre- and post-trip instructions.
BTW(B) 101: Behind The Wheel Training - 40 Hours
This is the BTW portion of the program. Students will cover the range and public road curricula. They will train in the yard and on the road for hands-on experience. Students will drive on highways, rural roads, and city roads. Subjects include but are not limited to: pre- and post-trip inspection, engine components, coupling, backing skills, safe driving skills, turning, loading, and parking.

Class B CDL Permit Program

PP(B) 101: Classroom Training - 20 Hours
Subjects of this class include but are not limited to: the general knowledge and air brakes sections of the State Manual. A practice exam will be administered to students to prepare them for their test.

Class B Recertification
Recertification programs are suitable for those who have previously held a CDL that has expired or lapsed. The school will administer the state-approved and necessary tests for recertification.
To sign up for recertification, students must:
1. Provide proof of suitability for recertification by meeting all general enrollment requirements.
2. Provide proof of CDL license that has expired.
3. Pass a two-hour skills test with pre-trip inspection administered at the school.
