Class A Refresher
The Class A Refresher Program aims to provide the knowledge necessary to pass the Class A CDL exam. The program will be divided into classroom instruction and Behind The Wheel (BTW) training. After successful completion of the program, students will receive a school certificate of completion and take the skills test for their Class A CDL at the Bay County Tax Collector's office.
Completion Time: 10 days
RC(A) 101: Classroom Training - 30 Hours
Students will receive lessons on proper safety measures, maintaining electronic logs, and more. Subjects include but are not limited to: general knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicles, and other safety skills, including Smith System training videos, trip-planning, following distances, and pre- and post-trip instructions. Students will be given a written exam at the end of the classroom course.
RBTW(A) 101: Behind The Wheel Training - 50 Hours
This is the BTW portion of the program. Students will practice in the range and drive on a variety of roads, such as highways, city, and rural. Subjects include but are not limited to: map reading, safe driving, pre- and post-trip inspection, engine components, coupling and uncoupling, backing, turning, docking, and low traffic driving.

Entry Level Class A
The Entry Level Class A Program will teach students the skills and knowledge of an entry-level Class A commercial vehicle driver and prepare them for the Class A CDL exam. The combination of classroom instruction and Behind The Wheel (BTW) training aims to give students the confidence and ability to begin their careers. After successful completion of the program, students will receive a school certificate of completion and may take the skills test for their Class

CT(A) 101: Classroom Training - 60 Hours

Class A CDL Permit Program
Specific coverage of tested subjects on the Class A CDL permit test.
Completion time: 5 days
PP(A) 101: Classroom Training - 20 HoursSubjects of this class include but are not limited to: the general knowledge, air brakes, and combination vehicle sections of the State Manual. A practice exam will be administered to students to prepare them for their permit test.

Class A Recertification
Recertification programs are suitable for those who have previously held a CDL that has expired or lapsed. The school will administer the state-approved and necessary tests for recertification.
To sign up for recertification, students must:
1. Provide proof of suitability for recertification by meeting all general enrollment requirements.
2. Provide proof of CDL license that has expired.
3. Pass a two-hour skills test with pre-trip inspection administered at the school.
